I am totally drawn to double page with clean design with lots of photos! And I am a color junkie too… love seeing different color combos :)

  2. ruth tacoma says:

Multiple photo layouts grab my attention first. :)

  3. Tanis says:

I think the first thing i look for is a fresh combination of elements or colours.
Something I haven’t seen before. And all things clean and graphic seem to catch my eye first :) THANKS for the PARTY!!!

    Hi:
I gotta say the first thing I notice is the pictures. Then the TITLE and how it is placed on the LO. I do 2 page LO’s with lots of pictures of my granddaughters and always forget I need space for a title. Trying to rectify that.
    Sandy

  5. carriegel says:

I am drawn to layouts that are very graphic with clean lines.

  6. conniemelancon says:

I also scrap 2 page LO’s and looking for the small details and embellishments that others use.

  7. I love color. Bright pinks, greens, yellows, purples. I can usually spot Sassafras papers anywhere, they’re one of my favorites because the colors always inspire me.

  8. ninam says:

titles and custom embelishments always get my creative juices flowing. i love finding new ideas for titles.

  9. laurapip says:

I am drawn to color combinations, number of photos (usually I need a lot) and sometimes it is the theme itself. :-)

  10. Generally what catches my eye is if I think “ooooh I could totally use that!” it could be anything from as a sketch, topic idea, color combos, or embellies. Just anything that I think I could pull off myself!

  11. Phyllis says:

I love to see color and then ideas begin to pop and I think “how can I use that on a page?”

  12. mj says:

i usually look for simple LOs that have about 3 photos and some fun layers.

  13. Cynthia B. says:

It really just depends what grabs me…I think color and photos come first - could be a great color combo, or it could be a monochromatic page w/ a powerful picture. I like to scrap multiphoto myself, so if I see a really creative design w/ >3 photos, I’ll take a second look. Then of course there are those accents and extra touches on a page…a really creative use of product on a layout will pull me in too. All those things can grab my attention - can’t describe all the things very well, but I know it when I see it!

  14. rebecca k says:

An amazing photo grabs me especially when the LO design is clean and original.

  15. Andrea says:

I think the color combo is what first gets my attention. But the most important to me is something that complements the pictures rather than taking away from them, and that fine line between lacking something and being overdone — you can definately have too much of a good thing!

  16. Glynis says:

I find layouts that contain a fair amount of white space allowing photos and other elements on the page to ‘pop’ are always the ones that first catch my eye. I also enjoy layouts that layer/cluster many different embellishments so long as the photos are still the key focus.

  17. Christine says:

I notice a nice clean design. The elements & colors grab my attention, but I tend to sketch & use a clean layout (Becky Higgins like).

  18. I am loving this design…awesome.

  19. Karin says:

My favorites are pages with lots of layers - either a clean look or collage, but with a lot of dimension.

  20. Carrie K says:

its always the details that grab me. a cool paper, a fab picture, a unique layout…makes me stop and take a closer look!

  21. Marit says:

    Uhhhhmmmmm, what grabs my intention???
I guess it would be the more “artsy” layouts - certainly not the “common and nice but I know that by now” layouts….. I lean toward the Art journal style lately and especially the odd ways of journaling. (I LOVE fonts and journaling!!!) So layouts to “learn” and “integrate” something from, that’s what I wanna see!!!!

  22. Judy G says:

For me it’s the little details, the embellies, the font, some little detail that sticks with me for use later. Kinda how you like the edge of Lauren’s layout. I’m gonna sooo steal that too!

  23. alexandra says:

it’s the color combo first, and the photo just them

  24. isabel says:

I see if the photo catch the eye, them I love see the little details
    thanks for the chance

  25. guillauma says:

My favorite are layouts with only one photo and beautiful papers ! the color combo is very important too for me

  26. isa dona says:

I like clean and simple and very pure layouts
    thanks for this great chance

  27. cjs says:

I just love a good coordinating colorful layout…number of pictures could be one or 10.

  28. Olivia says:

I am always drawn to pages with lots of layers and elements - flowers, brads, inks, several patterned papers full of color, jewels, ribbon, pearls, etc. I love the intricate details found within each product and how they so freely compliment each other on the layout.

  29. Patricia says:

Usually what draws me in is the layouts that use multiple pattern papers. I love the look of pp without so many embellishments on them cluttering them up.

  30. Jori says:

I usually notice the flow of the page first.

  31. JPScraps says:

For me it’s multiple photos and clean lines. I like the look of flourishes but I can’t seem to figure out how to make them work. But, above all the photos have to stand out above all else.

  32. shari walker says:

I am always drawn to the colors used and the photos, I like clean simple layouts so that the photos pop…Whats the saying, a photo is worth a thousand words…

  33. one pagers! simple designs

  34. Jennifer says:

I always get inspired by topics and ideas. It gets me goin! Great photos are always a plus!

  35. AngieL says:

Sometimes it’s the whole layout - I think I’m usually drawn to the clean, siple types. (I love the layout by Lauren above! That grabbed my attention for sure). Sometimes it’s a small detail of something that I like and may try incorporate into something I’m working on. Thanks for the chance to win.

  36. Shawn Wenrich says:

It’s all about the pictures and an overall clean look. The sloppy artsy layouts don’t fit my style.

  37. Julie says:

I’m definately drawn to the sketch of the layout and then take notes or sketch the design out so that I can recreate something later! I also am addicted and drawn to all the “beautiful” product advertised!

  38. what types of layouts grab your attention and make you wanna grab a pencil and start taking notes?
    Simple yet great product placement.
    what are you drawn to?
    Photos and color combos.

is it the color combo, number of photos, layers, or just the little details that draw you in?
It can be any of the following. However, I love the little details in layouts alot.

  39. Kim M says:

For me it is a combination of things…I usually am drawn to single photo layouts cause I don’t have a lot of pics to work with plus I like for there to be lots of layering. I just love layering pp.

  40. Tifany D. says:

It really depends on what draws me in. All the lovely layers seems to draw me in the most, though.

  41. Lisa Dones says:

Layouts with lots of photos!! I have so many pics!!! Lauren LOVE the layout. Your talents are jumpin right out!!!!

  42. gadget gal says:

for me is the titles and color combinations. Sometimes the photos do not capture the details that goes in a layout
But I must confess I look at the magazines more to see what is new out there.
For layout inspirations I use the internet

  43. Sandra says:

Wow, that actually really depends…I am drawn to good photography, ideas for heartfelt journalling and details, my favourite colours, but also really colourful layouts that are not quite my style..also love to see how different people work with the same material like in kit clubs :) Very inspiring!

  44. Carol says:

i’m drawn to layouts with lots of embellies and a great color combo!

  45. Kim Arnold says:

For me it is usually the oh - look at that details! or the colour combo

  46. I love any type of altered projects that would be perfect for using around the house, displaying or giving as gifts.

  47. Raimi says:

I love this LO Lauren! Super cute! I love how you used the yellow/black color combo & there isn’t even a bumble bee in sight! Your little E man is so cute!

  48. Cass says:

It’s the colour combo that grabs me first. And then the journaling. :)

  49. Amy/AmyInKy says:

I’m drawn to double page LOs. So often I skip over some events because I have too many photos that I want to use. I like finding inspiration to make a ton of photos work on a 2-pager. Good question!

  50. Charlene says:

I would say the color combo…i always have a hard time matching up colors to go with each other. I always could use color inspiration! :)
